Unknown site paths, including unknown /docs pages, return a branded HTML 404.
| Code | HTTP | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| unauthenticated | 401 | No session. The body is a string error. |
| invalid_query | 400 | Search q is missing, too long, or has no searchable character. |
| invalid_filter | 400 | Unknown search parameter, including tenant_id. |
| rate_limited | 429 | More than 60 search requests in a minute from one peer. |
| search_unavailable | 503 | The index file is absent. Not a result list. Catalog search is not available yet. |
| not_found | 404 | Unknown catalog path. |
| method_not_allowed | 405 | Catalog writes are refused. |
| forbidden | 200 | MCP refused the tool name. Check ok, not only the status. |
